We, at Premium Ocean, are seafood fanatics. We travel all around the world to find the best the oceans have to offer, from South America to Iceland and Africa.

We control the product we sell from the moment of capture (wild species) or harvest (farmed species) to the moment it’s in your freezer.

The wild shrimp from Ecuador, for example, is caught by a small group of artisanal fishermen working on boats they own and strictly adhering to sustainable fishing rules; we make sure that they only fish during the periods of the year when it’s allowed and that they use appropriate fishing gear. When they dock, the shrimp is taken to one of the processing plants fully controlled by us, where we supervise the size selection, the packaging and the freezing process. Even the loading of the containers which would bring the shrimp to the US is supervised by one of us.

The same attention to the sustainability of the fishing process and to the quality of the our packing houses, which are all HACCP certified and fulfill the strictest European and US sanitary standards, is repeated in Argentina, Morocco, Mauritania, Spain, etc… And it will be repeated wherever we decide our next product will come from. It’s a promise!
